I wondered aloud on this blog after Obama won the election-how Obama and his campaign would be treated with their lax credit card donations given by anyone who wanted to donate…including foreigners and fictitious cartoon character names. And I wondered if ACORN, his dear friends, would really be thoroughly investigated for fraud in 10 states where they are currently under investigation. I guess I have my answer now.

Obama and his advisers tell us we can spend our way out of the financial meltdown — then criticizes the past administration for spending. Folks who still think Obama walks on water, buy it hook, line, and sinker. The current spending bill wants the government to be your new daddy.

It’s a little hard to believe that Obama wants to bring unity to the nation with this kind of transference of blame especially in view of the housing bubble meltdown and the fact that the Democrats fought regulation and implied that the investigation was a lynching of Franklin Raines.
It’s equally hard for me to find Obama credible in this matter of spending. By the time he’s finished Bush’s spending will look like a river next to Lake Michigan. What will the next administration say about Obama?
That’s not really the main point however, the housing bubble played a huge role in the economic meltdown – and who sounded the warning?
Democrats took control of Congress in 2006 – what did they say or do about the danger of Fannie and Freddie? They defended it to the end!
One after one. Congress Democrats denied a problem with Fannie and Freddie–then some became hostile and attacked the messenger, Armando Falcon – Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight Director.
Obama received over $100,000 from Fannie and Freddie according to Opensecrets.org. So much for transparency! So much for integrity! So much for unity!
We have to spend our way out of this financial mess–but just look at my critics and how much they spent—does make sense to you? Obama is beginning his term with a BIG debt–and you and your children, and grandchildren get to pay it, even if you couldn’t pay off your mortgage.
How is $50 billion to the Arts going to stimulate the economy? If any of it goes to film makers–it will stimulate the liberal agenda…

On September 15, John McCain made the statement that the US economy was fundamentally strong–that occurred just prior to the $550 billion, two hour run on banks, and that was the reason he returned to Congress ten days later as he talked to lawmakers about this crisis. He was severely criticized for his return to Washington, while Obama was praised for saying, “if they need me, they’ll call me.”
Obama continued to campaign while lawmakers hammered out the TARP provisions.

16 illegal aliens are suing Roger Barnett for $32 million in actual and punitive damages for civil rights violations, emotional distress, and other crimes.
What is our Nation coming to when illegal aliens have more rights than US citizens? This is a sign of the times, and it resembles Rod Serling’s old TV series, The Twilight Zone. The name fits because US citizens are apparently sleep walking through intense social changes in our country.
“This is my land. I´m the victim here,” Mr. Barnett said. “When someone´s home and loved ones are in jeopardy and the government seemingly can´t do anything about it, I feel justified in taking matters into my own hands. And I always watch my back.”
The immigrants are represented at trial by the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), which also charged that Sheriff Dever did nothing to prevent Mr. Barnett from holding their clients at “gunpoint.

The present social justice movement (new name for socialism) in the US seems to side with illegal aliens in US law. There are several incidents where law enforcement officers have been sued by illegal aliens and won. At least one of these officers sits in jail for doing her job.
